Welcome to this week’s version of What Would You Do Wednesday where you are asked a question and debate among yourselves what the answer is. Unfortunately, the only prize you will receive will be the most Twitter mentions.
For this week’s What Would You Do Wednesday, I am asking about which prospects caught your eye in the Young Stars Tournament and if they deserve a longer look at training camp.
The Jets had a fairly lackluster showing at the Young Stars Tournament, which was hosted by the Canucks in Penticton, BC. The Jets’ young stars and young stars invites did not produce a win during the tournament.
While there was no actual value in wins, other than to instill a rivalry between teams, coaches and general managers are able to gauge which prospects need a longer look at training camp. As well, if there are any potential free agent steals from the Young Stars invites by the Jets.
Training camp is around the corner, last year Nic Petan and Nik Ehlers made the Jets after a successful Youngs Stars showing and an exceptionally strong training camp.
Does Kyle Connor deserve a long look at training camp? What about Jack Roslovic? Someone else?
