After a lacklustre Friday matinee loss against the Wild, the Jets face off against another Central Division opponent: the St. Louis Blues. The Jets have already won their past 2 games against the Blues and will be looking to make it a trifecta.

This is game four of a four game road trip for the Jets, who will be looking to ending sharp, instead of flat.

Yesterday, was not a good day for the Jets. They faced a middling team in the Minnesota Wild, and started off well. They went up 2-0 and things were looking good until the middle of the 2nd period. After that, the Jets spiralled and ended up losing 4-2 to the Wild.

This was the Jets’ third loss in four games.

Consistency has been a struggle for the Jets, part of that is roster composition, part of it is mental. Would Sami Niku make the Jets’ blueline better? Probably, yes.

The past little while has not been great for the St. Louis Blues. They have been struggling and even saw the firing of Head Coach Mike Yeo, despite having a pretty good looking roster. Craig Berube has taken over as head coach for the remainder of the season.

We will see if they can continue their momentum from their 6-2 win last night because that was a glimpse of how the Blues should perform.
