Welcome to Jets Nation brought to you by NHL betting site Betway! “Nikolaj Ehlers will have a sports Hernia operation next week details will be finalized we won’t know the length of time he’ll be out until they’re in there to see what they are dealing with” Rick Bowness would announce to the media this morning in the pregame presser.
Ehlers hasn’t played a game since Oct.17 against the Dallas stars. In Ehlers last game he would still play 21:47. In the two games Ehlers played this season he racked up three assists and averaged 3.5 shots. Ehlers is in his eighth year with the Winnipeg Jets and is expected to rejoin the club later this season and is still on the injured reserve.

With three of the top nine forwards out of the line up including Mason Appleton and Morgan Baron will the Jets look to make a trade? Potentially, mixed in with fact there is a log jam with the defence and teams begging for defenders the Jets might be in a spot to make a trade for a talented forward making four to six million dollars for a veteran defender.
