The Winnipeg Jets return home for one game after their longest road trip of the season. The Jets have dropped their last three games to the LA Kings, Vegas Golden Knights and the Dallas Stars the Jets were outscored 11-5 in those games.
The St. Louis Blues have a some issues in the first quater of the season by firing former head coach Drew Bannister and bringing in the Boston Bruins former head coach Jim Montgomery. The Blues have are 2-0-1 with Montgomery behind the bench. Most recently the Blues are coming off a 2-3 overtime loss to the Philadelphia Flyers. Where Jordan Binnington saved 28 of the 31 shots that he faced.
The Jets would put Nikolaj Ehlers on the injured reserve this morning retroactive to November 29th. <a href="https://jetsnation.ca/news/nikolaj-ehlers-placed-on-ir-brad-lambert-recalled-from-manitoba-moose">Brad Lambert</a> would get recalled from the Manitoba Moose he will be playing second line center. Which means Vladislav Namestnikov will slide onto the top line between Kyle Connor and Mark Scheifele.
St. Louis is dealing with three injuries including defencemen Torey Krug, Nick Leddy and forward Pavel Buchnevich. Defeneceman Phillip Broberg returned to the line up in the game against the Flyers Saturday.
Jake Neighbours leads the Blues with 8 goals on the season where Jordan Kyrou has 20 points. The Blues have an abysmal power play at just 15.8%. The Blues penalty kill is 18th in the NHL this season at 78.8%. 

The Jets are 9-1-0 against the Blues in the last ten games and have outscored them them 37-19 in those ten games.
Connor Hellebuyck the Jets starter has fun against the Blues and has a record of 16-5-2 in 23 games with a goals against average of 2.03 and a save percentage of .929 against the in his career.
Joel Hofer is the expected starter for the Blues, he has a 1-1-0 record in 2 games with a goals against average of 2.12 and a save percentage of .938 versus the Jets in his career.
Mark Scheifele who is nursing a very minor injury is the highest scoring Jet against the Blues he has 16 goals and 42 points in 41 games against St. Louis.
