Manitoba Moose forward Jack Roslovic has been selected to participate in this years AHL all-star game. Roslovic currently leads the Moose in scoring with 19 points in 25 contests and has held the teams lead in scoring throughout the season even as he’s on loan with Team USA participating in this years World Juniors.
Roslovic has consistently been the Moose’s best forward throughout the season. His decision to turn pro and not return to college has worked out in the best way possible.
On the international stage, Roslovic has thrived in his role. USA elected to slot Roslovic in as their third line centre, which ends up being a matchup nightmare for teams.
Roslovic, alongside the rest of Team USA, are gearing up for a Canada/USA gold medal game tonight that could see Roslovic add a gold medal to his list of rookie season accolades.

Get Excited for Jack Roslovic

Roslovic’s emergence so early in to his pro-career is promising. The idea of having another exciting centre to the Jets already stacked pipeline of Mark Scheifele, Bryan Little, Nic Petan, is an enticing one. The idea of Roslovic getting a stint with the Jets this season isn’t totally far fetched.
In the event a key cog like Bryan Little or Mark Scheifele were to get injured, the Jets could elect to call up Roslovic and insert him in to a  top-six role to A) get a more skilled player in the top-six as opposed to promoting from the bottom-six and B) to give Roslovic a much needed reward for his strong play.
But that day may not come this season and if so, that’s totally fine. Getting a full AHL season under his belt is what’s best for Roslovic’s development right now.
