Last Blues Game
Having lost five of their last six, the Blues hope that their 6-3 win over the @Carolina Hurricanes was a bit more of a return to form for them as @Zach Stanford and @Brayden Schenn each had a pair of goals.

Fun Blues Facts…
- The Blues are 23-1-6 this season when scoring first and their 23 wins after scoring first rank 2nd in the NHL (1. FLA, 24)
- In his last 9 home starts (Since Dec. 12), Jordan Binnington is 8-0-1, with a 2.21 GAA and a .913 SV%
- @Alex Pietrangelo has 8 points in his last 9 games (1g, 7a); Ryan O’Reilly has 14 points in his last 13 games (2g, 12a)
What They’re Saying…
The St. Louis Blues were frustrating many by continually playing Sanford, even when he was doing nothing. Lately, he has earned his chances. Throughout the St. Louis Blues history there have been lots of players that draw strong reactions on both sides, for good and bad. Zach Sanford is now in that category.
St. Louis Blues Zach Sanford Continues To Puzzle Fans – Bleedin’ Blue
Two Manitoba hockey parents lived the dream of watching their son receive his Stanley Cup ring earlier this week — even if it was a few months late. NHL defenceman Joel Edmundson, from Brandon, was part of the St. Louis Blues squad that hoisted the Cup last year. But he didn’t receive his championship ring with the rest of his teammates in October because he was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes just weeks before the hardware was handed out.
Last Jets Game
The Jets and @Nashville Predators played a rather mundane, low-scoring game that looked every bit the part of two teams struggling to get wins and not wanting to lose. Both teams got a single point and in the overtime Nashville controlled the puck for a minute then scored the game winner to skate away from Winnipeg with a 2-1 OT win.

Fun Jets Facts…
- The Jets play their only road game of a stretch between Jan. 23-Feb. 19 tonight in St. Louis. The Jets have played an even 27 games at home and on the road this season, but play six of their next seven games at home.
- Winnipeg has held their opponent to two goals in each of their past three games, but two of the games have been 2-1 losses.
- The Jets have scored in the first period in a season-high five consecutive games.
- Paul Maurice is set to coach his 500th game as the Jets head coach tonight against the Blues. This is also @Gabriel Bourque’s 400th career NHL game.
What We’re Saying…
As for St. Louis, their squad is tied for the fifth-highest number of takeaways (109) among all 31 teams since the start of January. While the Blues weren’t able to capitalize on any of the Jets’ turnovers until the third period on Saturday, the same can’t be expected during tonight’s showdown. If Winnipeg is sloppy with their possession of the puck once again, they may be unable to dominate St. Louis on the scoreboard during their series finale.
