Welcome to game 75 of the Jets’ season. The Jets were roughed up last night against the Kings. but they are back in the ring against the Anaheim Ducks tonight. This is the last game of their two game road trip, hopefully the Jets are able to make it out alive and with a point or two. The Jets have yet to beat the Ducks this season and look to change this with  win tonight.
Perreault and Laine scored for the Jets in their loss, while the Ducks have had a little rest since their 4-3 win against Edmonton.
Lets look at the line ups.
Winnipeg Jets (33-34-7, 5th in Central Division)
LWCRW

Nikolaj Ehlers

Bryan Little

Patrik Laine

Mathieu Perreault

Mark Scheifele

Blake Wheeler

Andrew Copp

Adam Lowry

Joel Armia

Brandon Tanev

Nicolas Petan

Chris Thorburn
Marko Dano was banged up last night against the Kings and is unfortunately out tonight against the Ducks. Brandon Tanev will draw into the line up.
With Laine and Perreault scoring, hopefully they can produce again for the Jets tonight. Laine moved into the rookie scoring lead last night with the points accumulated. Laine missed the Jets’ first game against the Ducks and will hopefully surprise the team with is shot.
Defensive Pairings

Julian Melchiori

Dustin Byfuglien

Josh Morrissey

Brian Strait

Mark Stuart

Nelson Nogier
So far we have not heard official word about Byfuglien being out for tonight’s game. If he is out, he will be sorely missed because he has averaged around 27 minutes per game. Brenden Kichton was called up from the Moose as well, to compensate for Byfuglien potentially being placed on the injured reserve.
Michael Hutchinson should get the start. Hellebuyck played last night and this is the second game of a back to back.

Anaheim Ducks (39-23-11, 2nd in Pacific Division)
LWCRW

Rickard Rakell

Ryan Getzlaf

Patrick Eaves

Andrew Cogliano

Ryan Kesler

Jakob Silfverberg

Nick Ritchie

Antoine Vermette

Corey Perry

Chris Wagner

Nate Thompson

Jared Boll
The Jets will have their work cut out for them as they try to shutdown the Ducks’ offense, even if the Ducks are hampered by Carlyle’s coaching.. Ryan Getzlaf leads the Ducks with 62 points (14 goals and 48 assists), while Rickard Rakell leads the Ducks in goals with 32. Rakell scored when the Jets played the Ducks last.
Defensive Pairings

Cam Fowler

Sami Vatanen

Hampus Lindholm

Josh Manson

Korbinian Holzer

Kevin Bieksa
Cam Fowler leads the Ducks defensive core with 34 points.
Jonathon Bernier will most likely get the start for the Ducks. He has gone 7-1-1 with a GAA of 1.64 and a .948 save percentage. Bernier looks to add to his roll with his 10th start in March.
