JGD 30: Scheifele returns as Jets host Rangers

The Jets will finish up their two game homestead tonight against the Metropolitan divisions best, the New York Rangers. Puck drop is slated for 7pm CT and you can catch all the action on TSN3 or TSN 1290 radio.
Jets
- The big headline ahead of tonight’s matchup is the return of Mark Scheifele, who has been held out with a lower body injury since December 1st. Scheifele won’t be reunited with Nikolaj Ehlers and Patrik Laine tonight, his usual teammates. This is likely due to the injuries throughout the Jets lineup and the need for the team to distribute offense throughout the lineup.
- You know who doesn’t get enough credit? Blake Wheeler. The Jets captain is currently riding a six-game point streak while leading by example night in and night out.
Rangers
OFFICIAL: Following an MRI today, Rick Nash is expected to be sidelined one week.
