It’s Day Three of the World Junior Hockey Championship, so why not have all three Jets prospects in action!
Not sure of who they are?

Read our Jets At The Juniors Preview!

Four games were on tap today, featuring Finland taking on Denmark, Russia facing off against Switzerland, Sweden battling the Czech Republic, and the USA looking to take down Slovakia.

Game Scores

Finland def. Denmark 4-1
Russia def. Switzerland 5-2
Sweden def. Czech Republic 3-1
Slovakia def. USA 3-2

Kristian Vesalainen

As he did against Canada, Vesalainen looked good in Finland’s 4-1 victory over the Danes. Vesalainen finished with 3 shots on goal in just over 21 minutes of ice-time.

Mikhail Berdin

Once again, Mikhail Berdin watched Russia down Switzerland 5-2 from the press-box. While we’re all hoping to see him get into some game action, it’s hard to say if he will.

Dylan Samberg

Samberg played just over 18-minutes in the United States’ stunning upset loss to Slovakia. He had one shot on goal in the game. Very little turnaround time for Samberg and Team USA, as they head outdoors to play Canada tomorrow in front of around 40,000 people at New Era Field, the home of the NFL’s Buffalo Bills.

Jets in Action Tomorrow

No need to worry about another day with no Jets connections, as both Dylan Samberg (USA v. Canada) and Mikhail Berdin (Russia v. Belarus) are back in action tomorrow.
