Be sure to check Betway to check out the latest Jets game day odds and bet on the NHL! The Winnipeg Jets (7-5-2) continue their five-game home stand with a visit from an Eastern conference opponent, the New Jersey Devils (7-5-1). The Jets come into this game with a 1-1-0 record during their current home stand where they recently fell short against the Dallas Stars this past Saturday, the final score being 3-2.
But on a positive note the Jets did defeat division rivals, the Nashville Predators by a score of 6-3 on November 9th. Kyle Connor lit the lamp by scoring his first hat trick this season and his 5th in his NHL career. With that impressive performance last week over three games Connor was able to pocket five goals and three assists and was named NHL’s Second Star of the week.
The Devils are coming off a 4-2 loss to the Washington Capitals on November 10th. Timo Meier and Dawson Mercer chipped in on the scoresheet but the Devils still managed to let one slip away.
Something to also note is that New Jersey is coming off a three-day break period so it won’t be a shocker if they play a fast and energetic game. The Devils are dealing with some injuries to Nico Hischier and Jack Hughes so they will not dress for tonight’s game.
