Be sure to check Betway to check out the latest Jets game day odds and bet on the NHL!  Can the Winnipeg Jets finally pull off a win against the Dallas Stars for the first time this season or are they getting swept? The Jets are looking for their fifth straight win tonight. After the disappointing final 40 minutes regulation of the Jets game where they only managed nine shots on Juuse Sarros, I might be a Debbie downer and think the Jets don’t have much of a chance against the Stars.
The Stars are seven points a head of the Jets and are locking up first in the Central Division. Second place is still up for grabs for the Jets so a win tonight is critical for the Jets.
Rick Bowness was asked about the potential of being swept by the Stars tonight and said
“I’m not worried about that( being swept by the Stars) if we play a great game and lose and we’re swept then we are swept. It’s more important that we play a great game tonight we just need to play Winnipeg Jet hockey”
David Gustafsson will draw into the line up over Cole Perfetti who is being health scratched. Gustafsson will play with Adam Lowry and Mason Appleton. Tyler Toffoli will find himself back on the second line with Nikolaj Ehlers and Sean Monahan.
Laurent Brossoit will make the start for the Jets tonight in Dallas. He is is 2-0-1 in 3 games with a goals against average of 1.90 and a save percentage of .944 against the Stars in his career. This will be his first start against Dallas as a Jet. THis will be his first start since April 1st.
Jake Oettinger Stars for the Stars tonight. He is near perfect when playing the Jets going 5-0-1 with goals against average of 1.99 and a .926 save percentage. This season he has three shutout victories, and tonight he will be starting his ninth in 11 games.

Adam Lowry is going to be playing his 700th NHL game tonight. Watch for the captain to do something big.
Dallas has won nine of their last ten games, where the Jets are 4-5-1 in their last 10. The Stars have out scored the Jets 9-3 this season in three games.
Jason Robertson leads the Stars in points with 78, Wyatt Johnston has 32 goals and leads the teams. Mark Scheifele leads the Jets with 69 (nice) points. Kyle Connor leads the Jets in goals with 32.
