The Winnipeg Jets (14-8-2) are on the road for four games starting tonight against the Colorado Avalanche (16-7-2). Tonight’s contest should be great one as both teams are fighting to be the top team in the Central Division at the end of the season.
The Avalanche are back in the win column after  defeating the Anaheim Ducks 3-2 on December 5th. Prior to that, the Avs would drop three straight games.
The Jets are flying high after winning their last two games the last win was a stressful one where they would beat the Carolina Hurricanes 2-1. Big kudos to Laurent Brossoit, who picked up the win after stopping 42 of 43 shots.
Yesterday Scott Billeck Tweeted that Logan Stanley and Dylan Samberg were playing together during practice with Nate Schmidt and Declan Chisholm being the extra defencemen. Vlad Namestnikov was not in the line rushes and is most likely to miss this game.
