Be sure to check Betway to check out the latest Jets game day odds and bet on the NHL!  Queue closested Toronto Maple Leafs fans coming out of the wood work over the next two games. We all have that friend or co-worker who will wear a Jets jersey for 80 games a year but when the Leafs are playing the Jets you know the Maple Leafs Jersey is coming out.
The Winnipeg Jets find themselves back in the L column. No big deal they lost to the big bad Boston Bruins 4-1 on Monday night while missing key forwards Mark Scheifele and Gabriel Viladri. Connor Hellebuyck still holds onto his not allowing more than three goals against in a game.
The Maple Leafs are coming off a 3-1 victory over the Seattle Kraken but are only 5-4-1 over their last ten games. They are holding onto the first wild card position in the East with 54 points, but with just an overtime point they will regain their third place spot in the Atlantic division.
The Jets are looking to put some space between them and the Colorado avalanche and Dallas Stars as they all are on the bye-week next. All three of the top teams in the Central division have two games remaining before their time off.

JETS NATION PRESENTED BY BETWAY

Big Papi, Auston Matthews, without surprise leads the Maple Leafs and the NHL in goals with 38 on the season. William Nylander leads Toronto in points with 61. Kyle Connor leads the Jets with 18 goals and Nikolaj Ehlers leads the Jets in points with 35 for the players who play tonight.
Mark Scheifele has missed the last three games and will miss tonight as he is still out day-to-day with a lower-body injury. Vilardi will miss his second straight game.
The Jets penalty kill is finally functioning as it should they have four power play goal against in the last ten games. They were able to keep the Bruins off the score board with the extra man which is a massive step forward for that group. Tonight will be another big challenge for the Jets as the Leafs are 8th in the NHL on power play scoring at a 25 percent rate with the extra man.
In the last 20 games dating back to Oct. 4 2017 between the Jets and Leafs, the Jets have a losing 7-11-2 record and have been outscored 50-66.
Laurent Brossoit gets the start tonight against the Leafs. He hasn’t had much luck against the Leafs with a 1-3-0 record against Toronto. In his three starts with the Jets against the Leafs he has a 2.19 goals against average.
