Be sure to check Betway to check out the latest Jets game day odds and bet on the NHL! We got to see the first NHL All-Star draft since 2015. We also got to see our first person tripping on mushrooms while at an NHL draft. Thanks Micheal Buble for making jazz and psilcybin cool to the general population.
Two Winnipeg Jets got drafted tonight Connor Hellebuyck and Kyle Connor. The two Connors have been split up for the All-Star weekend. Hellebuyck was drafted by team McDavid and Will Arnett in the first round. A great team starts with a great goaltender. Kyle Connor was drafted in the third round by team Hughes and Micheal Buble.
Connor Hellebuyck is playing in his fourth NHL All-Star game, and through his first 37 games he is looking like a slam dunk favorite to win the Vezina trophy. This is Kyle Connor’s second time at the All-star break. He got the honor of being an All-Star this year because Connor Bedard has a broken jaw and is still on the injured reserve.

Joining Hellebuyck on Team McDavid:
  • Leon Draisaitl (EDM)
  • David Pastrnak (BOS)
  • Rasmus Dahlin (BUF)
  • Robert Thomas (STL) ((Not matchbox twenty))
  • Sam Reinhart (FLA)
  • Sergie Bobrovsky (FLA)
  • Boone Jenner (CBJ)
  • Nick Suzuki (MTL)
  • Tomas Hertl (SJS)
You might as well call Team Hugh “Canucks and Friends” but joining Connor on Quinn Hughes team:
  • Elias Pettersson
  • Nikita Kucherov
  • Thatcher Demko
  • Kyle Connor
  • Brady Tkachuk
  • Jesper Bratt
  • Cam Talbot
  • Brock Boeser
  • JT Miller
The skills competition gets started at 6 PM. Hellebuyck will be partaking in the Honda NHL one-on-one event. The goalie with the most saves will earn $100,000.  Connor will not be partaking in the skills competition.
We will have highlights of the skills competition on our socials and coverage here! Which was the best team drafted for the 2024 All-Star game?
