WWYDW: Time For Some Jagr-bombs?

Coming into the free agency period this past weekend, Jets fans and media might have expected a signing or two, but – with apologies to Steve Mason and Dmitry Kulikov – none of them were going to be “big names” that would set the hockey world on fire.
And then future Hall Of Fame and current unrestricted free agent forward Jaromir Jagr tweeted this:
That can’t be right can it? One of the greatest ever to play the game and a still very productive forward in what I believe is his 347th NHL season not even getting a single call from any NHL club?
It’s hard to believe this hasn’t attracted a lot more attention in the market:

It might have been a bit of an exaggeration on his part, surely at this point a general manager has kicked some tires on the legend, but his tweet set many hockey fans into a tizzy as Jagr suddenly shot up to the top of many a fan’s free agent wish list.
Jets fans were no exception, but… Jagr? In a Jets jersey for the 2017-18 season? Seems like a preposterous idea, right?
To put it simply: Yes. It is. Very preposterous. Even if Jagr himself was ready to brave Winnipeg in February, would the Jets be interested in forking out the money needed or have room for him on the roster? Surely the Jets are set at forward, right?
Maybe not. Tuesday afternoon we found out through TSN insider Daren Dreger that the Jets may still be looking for another forward:

What Would You Do JetsNation?

If Jagr was interested, would you offer him a contract? What would be the terms of that deal? Who would you have him play with?
Or at the age of 45, are you walking away from Jagr and looking for forward help elsewhere?
