Winnipeg Jets Prospect named OHL goaltender of the week in back to back weeks

On March 13th the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) announced in back to back weeks and third time this season Winnipeg Jets prospect Dom DiVcentiis has been named Goaltender of the Week.  The goaltender with the North Bay Battalion won two of his games including a shutout, a goals against of .50 and a save percentage of .984. In his two games this past week the 6’2 goaltender stopped 63 of 64.
The first game of the week was Mar. 8 was against Owen Sound Attack where North Bay would walk away with a 4-1 victory. DiVcentiis would save 36 of 37. Sunday night the 19-year-old goaltender would pick up his fourth shoutout of the season over the London Knights.

DiVcentiis owns a record of 34-9-2-0 this season and sits on top of the OHL in goals against average category allowing an average of 2.36 goals against. He owns a very impressive .918 goals against average.
The Bolton,Ontario native was drafted in the seventh round, 207th overall in the 2022 NHL draft by the Winnipeg Jets. DiVcentiis was Goaltender of the Week for the weeks Nov.28 -Dec.4 and again Feb.27-Mar.5.
The North Bay Battalion are second in the OHL and first in their division with 89 points and a record of 43-17-2-1. The Jets will play again tonight against the Carolina Hurricanes.
