Be sure to check Betway to check out the latest Jets game day odds and bet on the NHL! After a week of a vacation I am back and clearly things did not go the Jets way while I was gone. Hearing the boo’s rained down on the Jets after that garbage 3-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators on Saturday evening.

The Winnipeg faithful hopes are starting to fade away during this six game losing streak.But don’t fear friends the LA Kings are in their own little skid of their own they lost their last two games to our friends in Alberta. The Kings lost the Oilers 4-1 on March 28th and 4-2 to the Flames on March 30th. The Kings are holding onto the final wildcard playoff spot in the west. They shouldn’t fall out of the playoffs but it could happen if the St. Louis Blues go on a run and make up the five point difference.

Some folks have been believing that the Jets could clinch a playoff spot tonight with a win but that is not true. The Jets are two wins away and the St. Louis Blues are two losses away from that taking place.

Tyler Toffoli is going to be a game time decision as he is dealing with an illness. Cole Perfetti will take his place if Toffoli can’t make it. Rick Bowness will shake up the defencive pairings. Most notably Neal Pionk will play on the top pair with Josh Morrissey.

In the last 10 games between LA and Winnipeg the Jets are 5-4-1 and most recently beat the Kings 5-2 on December 13th when the Jets would come back from an early two goal hole they dug themselves.

Tyler Moore leads LA in goals ( 26) and Adrian Kempe leads the team in points(65). Tyler Toffoli and Kyle Connor both lead the Jets in goals (30) Mark Scheifele leads the team in points (65).

Laurent Brossoit should get the start for the Jets tonight. He is 3-2-1 against the Kings with a 3.16 goals against average and an .894 save percentage. Cam Talbot is expected to start for LA he is 9-7-1 against the Jets with a .902 save percentage and a 3.26 goals against average expect a high scoring affair tonight.
