Welcome back to another edition of Throwback Thursday!
This week in 1990 (Nov. 10), the Winnipeg Jets acquired center Eddie Olczyk from the Toronto Maple Leafs. Along with him came Mark Osborne with the Jets giving up Dave Ellett and Paul Fenton.
Olczyk played parts of five seasons for the Jets scoring 95 goals and 201 points in 214 games and scored three goals and as many points in 12 playoff games. He left the Jets in a Dec. 1992 trade that saw the club acquire Kris King and Tie Domi, but later returned in 1995.
Osborne, meanwhile, only played parts of two seasons with the Jets scoring 12 goals and 32 points in 80 games. The winger was dealt in March 1992 to the Toronto Maple Leafs for Lucien DeBlois.
