Nik Antropov on Evander Kane

1 year agoWelcome to Jets Nation brought to you by NHL bets site Betway! On January 24th former Winnipeg Jet’s forward Nik Antropov was on the Cam and Strick podcast. At 2:37:20 in the podcast Antropov was asked about the infamous Dustin Byfuglien throwing Evander Kanes tracksuit into the shower and would talk about a young Evander Kane.
“He was 18 year old coming from the Western league and was making a million dollars now. He wouldn’t listen to anybody. That’s why this incident happened when Buff threw his shit into hot tub (Shower??) He wouldn’t listen he was on his own a lot of the time.”

Kane was drafted fourth overall by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 2009 NHL draft. Over six seasons with the Atlanta Thrashers/Jets organization he would score 109 goals and 113 assists over 361 games.
“I guess he’s changed now and has grown up he has a family now, but then he was young f***ing punk. That was my 11th or 12 year in the league, I tried to help. Don’t do this don’t do that but he wouldn’t f***ing listen no body really had time for him back in the day.”
Kane as seen recent success with the Edmonton Oilers both on and off the ice. Kane has started a new clothing brand since joining the Oilers in January 28th 2022 and has played 60 games, scored 27 goals and 52 points.
