The majority of the Jets 2015 draft class continues it’s strong play, and we check in on a couple prospects who had previously been omitted in today’s prospect stats update.
AHL
The Moose’s scoring woes continued as they only managed to put up one goal on 47 shots over the course of two games.
There were some encouraging signs, as they looked up better in the Saturday game putting up 29 of those shots, but overall they continue to look like a team in dire need of some offensive help. The one goal the Moose did score was nice powerplay snipe from Joel Armia assisted by Brendan Kichton.
Each goalie received one start and both continued to look stellar as Hellebuyck stopped 33 of 35 and Comrie was good for 30 of 32 shots.

CHL

Brendan Lemieux continues to serve his suspension and did not play any games.
Gennaro was unable to put up any points in two games played.
Harkins only put up one assist in four games played as his early season scoring issues continue.
Michael Spacek started a new point scoring streak with four points across the three games he played with the Rebels.
Nogier was also able to chip in an assist for Red Deer in three games played.

NCAA

Mason Appleton continued his strong start with two more assists in two games played. He was moved from center to wing this weekend but continued to play top line minutes for MSU.
Jack Roslovic scored the only goal in a 1-0 win and also chipped in an assist in a 5-3 loss as Miami split their weekend series with St. Lawrence University.
Franklin put up a goal and an assist in two games played.
Kyle Connor was able to add two assists in a tie and a win in two games for Michigan and continues to lead the team in scoring as a freshman.
Erik Foley picked up his first NCAA point as he got an assist in one of the two games Providence played.
Tucker Poolman got two assists in two games played for the top rated North Dakota.
Jack Glover got his first goal of the season and his collegiate career as he scored one goal in two games played.
Matt Ustaski has yet to put up a point this season as he was held pointless in two and overall has not points in six.
Tanner Lane was also held pointless in two games played.
Jamie Phillips picked up a win and a loss and stopped 61 of the 66 shots he faced.

Europe

Sami Niku scored no points in two games played but continued to log solid minutes for JYP. While three points in 15 games may seem insignificant, Niku leads all under-20 defenders in points in the Liiga.
Similarly Pavel Kraskovsky was also held pointless in two games played but seems to have solidified himself in a 4th line spot with Lokomotiv.
Ivan Telegin also scored no points in two games played.

Other

Marcus Karlstrom put up one assist in two games played in the NAHL.
