Gameday 18: Winnipeg Jets @ Tampa Bay Lightning

The Jets are coming off an impressive home stand where they went 4-1-0, two of their wins coming against Central Division opponents. Their most recent game was against the Arizona Coyotes where the Jets extended their win streak to three games with a 5-2 victory. The Jets are now 5-1-0 against their divisional opponents.
The Lightning are coming off a 5-4 overtime win against the league leading in points, Boston Bruins. The Lightning managed to wire 47 shots on Linus Ullmark. Brandon Hagel secured his 9th goal of the season with the overtime winner. The Lightning have won three straight games but have given up at least five goals in five of their last six games.


For Winnipeg, Connor Hellebuyck will get the start in net. Hellebuyck has a 8-4-1 record and has a .897 save percentage. Hellebuyck is coming off a win against the Buffalo Sabres where he stopped 26 of 28 shots. For Tampa Bay, Jonas Johansson will get the start in net. Johansson is coming off a 5-4 overtime victory against the Boston Bruins where he stopped 23 of 27 shots. This season, Johansson has a 8-4-4 record with a .894 save percentage.
