The Winnipeg Jets (6-4-2) return from a three-game road trip where they begin a five-game home stand starting with division rivals, the Nashville Predators (5-7-0). The Predators come into this game wrapping up a five-game road trip where so far they are 1-3-0. Their previous game was against the Calgary Flames where they found themselves up 2-0 but that didn’t stop Calgary from completing the comeback and winning the game by a score of 4-2.
The Jets return to Winnipeg with a two-game winning streak and points in seven in their last games. Nino Niederreiter recorded his third career hat trick in Arizona as he registered 3 points and was a +3 in the 5-3 victory over the Arizona Coyotes.
In win over the St. Louis Blues, Kyle Connor contributed on the score sheet twice. One coming on the power play in the second period to give the Jets a 3-1 lead, and the other coming in the third period which stretched their lead to 4-1.
For Nashville, Juuse Saros is the projected starter. Saros has a 4-6-0 record and has a solid .911 save percentage. It’ll be interesting how Saros performs coming off an unfortunate loss to Calgary on Tuesday.

For Winnipeg, Laurent Brossoit will get the start in net. Brossoit is coming off a shootout loss to the Montreal Canadiens where he stopped 25 of 29 shots. This season, Brossoit has a 0-1-1 record with a .873 save percentage.
The Jets are looking for a chance to be second in the Central with a win tonight and a Dallas Stars loss. The Predators are looking to get out of the basement of the division. They are currently seventh in the Central and could fall behind the Chicago Blackhawks if they manage to find a win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Projected Lineup:

Connor – Scheifele – Iafallo
Perfetti – Namestnikov – Ehlers
Niederreiter – Lowry – Appleton
Barron – Kupari – Gustafsson
Morrissey – DeMelo
Dillon – Pionk
Samberg – Schmidt
Brossoit (.873 SV%)
