Be sure to check Betway to check out the latest Jets game day odds and bet on the NHL! At 3 PM on Feb.21, the Winnipeg Jets would announce that Cole Perfetti would be placed on the injured reserve by the Winnipeg Jets. At the same time, the Jets would also let us know that forward Axel Jonsson-Fjällby has been recalled by the Jets from the Manitoba Moose on an emergency basis.
Perfetti would miss the game against the New York Rangers on Feb. 21 with an upper-body injury that he would sustain during the game against the New Jersey Devils on Feb.19th. Perfetti would play through the injury in the game against the Devils but sit out against the Rangers where Sam Gagner would get into the lineup with Perfetti out.

JETS NATION PRESENTED BY BETWAY

Perfetti,21, is playing in his first full rookie season and has played 51 games, scored eight goals, and 22 assists adding up to 30 points this season. He has been primarily playing in the top six for the Jets. Some suspected he may have been a piece that could have been traded in a major deal at the trade deadline on March 3.
Perfetti missed time earlier this season with another upper-body injury. No word at this time if they are related to injuries.
Jonsson-Fjallby, 25, played in four games with the Moose and would pick up three goals and an assist. In total the Swedish-born player has picked up four goals and seven assists over 45 games with the Jets this season.  Jonsson-Fjällby has been a welcome addition to the Jets as a player who joined the club due to being a waiver claim. Originally Jonsson-Fjällby was picked up in the fifth round at 147th overall by the Washington Capitals in 2016 at the NHL draft.
The Jets play next against the New York Islanders at 6 PM Central time on Feb. 21.
