Game one of this three game road was a success over the New York Rangers who I expected a little more from. The Jets are in Tampa Bay tonight for the final game game of the season between the two clubs. The Jets last defeated the Lightning 7-4.
Tampa bay has lost both their games since last playing the Jets on November 3rd. They have lost their last four games including the game against the Jets and have been outscored 17-11.
Andrei Vasilevskiy gets the start tonight for the Lightning he is 6-5-1 this season and is 4-7-1 against the Jets. He has a career .887 save percentage and a 3.35 goals against average against the Jets.
Connor Hellebuyck will be standing on the far side of the rink from Vasilevskiy. Hellebuyck is 9-3-1 against the Lightning in his career but has some down numbers including a 3.73 goals against average and an .886 save percentage.

The lightning will miss Brayden Point he is out with a lower body injury. The Jets are without Logan Stanley once again Haydn Fleury will draw in.
