In the 3-2 Winnipeg Jets victory over the Minnesota Wild on December 31st Ryan Hartman would take a faceoff against Cole Perfetti and would hit him in the face leading to the Jets forward leaving the ice and getting a few stitches.
Ryan Hartman would get fined on Tuesday $4,427.08 for the high stick on Cole Perfetti.That is the maximum allowable under the CBA.
During the morning press conference Perfetti would give praise to the Wild forward before revealing that Hartman openly said the high stick was intentional and the whole thing was caught on the mic the Jets forward was wearing for the &#8220;Runway&#8221; feature the team puts out.

Perfetti would score a single assist after getting his stitches against the Wild on Decemeber 31st. As well Adam Lowry would score his 100th NHL goal.
The Jets and Wild will faceoff twice before the end of the season. The next game between the two clubs is February 20th at Canada Life Centre.
