Be sure to check Betway to check out the latest Jets game day odds and bet on the NHL! As per Elliotte Friedman the Winnipeg Jets have made a trade for Nashville Predators forward Nino Niederreiter. Frank Seravalli would tweet out that the trade is Niederreiter for a second round 2024 pick.
Niederreiter,30, a right winger, has played in 56 games this season with the Predators has scored 18 goals and 10 assists for 28 points. The Switz born player was drafted fifth overall in the 2010 NHL draft. To date he has played for the New York Islanders, Minnesota Wild, Carolina Hurricanes and Nashville Predators. In 788 NHL games he has scored 199 goals and 197 assists.

Niederreiter has been playing on the Predators powerplay with limited success only scoring three goals and two assists with the extra man. He has reached the the 20-goal mark in six of the last eight season’s hopefully finding the mark again to help the Jets find a secondary scorer.
Niederreiter has one more year left on his two-year contract it will come in at a cap hit of four million dollars.
