What a week for Winnipeg Jets forward Kyle Connor! Not only did he score his 500th NHL point scoring in 10 straight games to start the season but he was also named the second star of the month of October by the NHL!
This wasn’t shocking to see as he is currently tied for 5th in NHL scoring with Nikita Kucherov with nine goals and eight assists. Both men are have the second most goals in the NHL are are just behind Cole Caufield, and Nico Hischier who have ten goals and and have played more games than both Kucherov and Connor.
Connor has scored multiple points a game over his last four games in October. He set the record for consecutive goals scored in the first game of the year to start the season off. Over his career he has scored 35 goals, 31 assists and a plus-minus of -3 in 75 games in the month of October.
Kyle Connor is on pace (if ive done my math right) for 139 points this season that number will come down but anything over 100 is more than welcome.
Connor was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in 2015 17th overall from Youngstown in the USHL. He has played 541 games for the Jets he has 252 goals and 250 assists in his nine year career.
