What Could the Jets get for Roslovic?

It came out December 30th that Jack Roslovic wants a trade out of Winnipeg. Clearly both sides have hit a road block; Roslovic is looking to get out and get a new start. I have heard its not the dollars Roslovic is looking for its just more playing time. Unfortunately the trade market is already pretty dried up but to get a player like Roslovic would be great for more teams around the NHL so there might be a trade out there. I’m a big Roslovic fan but he hasn’t gotten the chance he needs in Winnipeg; averaging 14:54 for ice time last year he on averaged .40 points per game.  Roslovic does need to be meaner and needs to be heavier on his stick if he wants to play top 6 minutes but I think that can be done under the right coach.
Since Cheveldayoff is fairly wise GM he shouldn’t take anything less than a 2nd rounder or a warm body. Roslovic is still at home down in Columbus why not ship him there for another young player in Gabriel Carlsson? The trade would work out for both teams. The Jets could get a young defensive defensman in Carlsson although he has only played 21 games in the NHL this could be the year where he can split his time between the Jets and the taxi squad or even spend another year really refining his game down with the Moose.

Roslovic is a product of Columbus Ohio; he could potentially blossom under a guy like John Tortorella. If Roslovic  does win over Tortorella he could could let Roslovic take over Cam Atkinson on the second line but overall Roslovic could defiantly take at minimum a third line wing roll with the Blue Jackets and might have a chance for some PP time.

At the current time it is a loss of a trade for the Jets but it gets the Roslovic out of town gets a warm body with a ton of potential into the system.

What do you think should the Jets try and trade Roslovic? Would a guy like Carlsson fit into the Jets system? Let me know what you think.
