Throwback Thursday: Today in 1987, Winnipeg Jets Paul MacLean scores 200th career goal

It was today in 1987 that Paul MacLean scored his 200th career goal with the Winnipeg Jets.
The sniper had joined the club only a few years prior in 1981, and quickly piled up goals scoring 200 in only his sixth NHL season. And the goal he scored as number 200 was a big one.
MacLean had scored at the 2:35 mark of the third period, a game-winner, that helped propel the Jets to a 2-1 win over the New York Rangers. By the time he retired from the NHL in 1991, MacLean had amassed 324 games over his 719 game career.
Acquired from the St. Louis Blues on July 3, 1981 alongside Bryan Maxwell and Ed Staniowski, the Jets gave up Scott Campbell and John Markell to bring him to town. He left the Jets on June 13, 1988 in a deal that sent him to the Detroit Red Wings for Brent Ashton.
