JNGD.S8.G46 Jets host Vegas for the first time since the playoffs
By Zee
5 years agoWinnipeg has not seen Vegas since the playoffs last year, when they lost the series 4-1 and the Vegas lineup has seen some roster changes since then. James Neal, David Perron and a few others have since parted ways though they did manage to sign Paul Statsny and Max Pacioretty. Additionally, Nate Schmidt found himself on the outside looking in after a failed drug test awarded him a hefty 20 game suspension. This was a team that was looking like they were struggling to recapture that golden magic of their inaugural year, but has seemingly found its way again.

#89 Alex Tuch – Wing
Very quietly, Alex Tuch has pulled himself into the position of being the current scoring lead for Vegas. The second liner is currently on a 9 game point streak, and isn’t too far off of a point per game this season at 38 points in 40 games. Tuch remains a second liner for this iteration of the Golden Knights, but who can complain when you’ve got Paul Statsny and Max Pacioretty as linemates?

Knights Notebook
- Vegas has a very tough schedule ahead of them with games against Winnipeg, Minnesota, Pittsburgh and Nashville all before the All-Star break.
- Fleury will be attending the All-Star game as the sole Golden Knight selected. This will be his fourth appearance. Last year he won the shootout competition.

#18 Bryan Little – Center
What’s not to love about Bryan Little lately? After a season of not seeing much in the way of results, Bryan Little has managed to have at least a brief bounce back within the last few games. He’s extended his point streak to five games and during the game with Detroit, scored a goal to give him 500 career points.
