Coming off their worst performance of the early season, the Winnipeg Jets look to get back in the win column on Wednesday night when they travel to Toronto to take on the rebuilding Maple Leafs.
From start to finish, the Jets just couldn’t keep up with the Eastern Conference leading Canadiens in a 5-1 loss last weekend.
“We’ll think about this one a little bit more and then throw it away,” Jets forward Drew Stafford told the Winnipeg Sun. “No matter what the score and no matter how the game went, you have to move on.”
They’ll try to do that against the Leafs.

Predictions

Game Day Prediction: The Jets cannot take the Mike Babcock-led Leafs lightly. On paper it may look like an easy matchup, but on the ice it’s a different story. Regardless, the Jets will pull out a victory tonight. Jets 4 Leafs 2
Obvious Prediction: The Leafs will want to stay out of the penalty box against the Jets, who boast one of the best power-play percentages in the league.
Not So Obvious Prediction: The Jets are shut out by the Leafs, who have been allowing 3.09 goals per game.
