The Winnipeg Jets have announced the recall of four forwards and two d men from the Manitoba Moose at the completion of the AHL regular season. Mason Appleton, Marko Dano, Logan Shaw, Kristian Vesalainen, Cameron Schilling, and Logan Stanley will all be joining the big club.
Missing from the list is Tucker Poolman as he is still dealing with some injury issues, lower body in nature.
This is the common move for playoff teams (as we know), getting guys up and into the press box to be able to experience playoff hockey and be around a successful team.
Each players season with the Moose (in AHL):
Mason Appleton 40gp, 15-17-32
Marko Dano 51gp, 12-18-30
Logan Shaw 70gp 29-22-51
Kristian Vesalainen 53gp, 10-20-30
Cameron Schilling 64gp, 6-23-29
Logan Stanley 73gp, 6-16-22
Marko Dano 51gp, 12-18-30
Logan Shaw 70gp 29-22-51
Kristian Vesalainen 53gp, 10-20-30
Cameron Schilling 64gp, 6-23-29
Logan Stanley 73gp, 6-16-22
The list of players left “behind” still under contract with the Jets is large and some of the guys will head to the ECHL to help out on that playoff run.
