The Winnipeg Jets begin a road trip against an opponent that has proven to be a tough out as a narrow favourite at home.
The Jets are the -105 underdog while the Anaheim Ducks are -115 favourites with a 5.5-goal total on the NHL odds for Tuesday at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The Jets are 7-2 in their last nine away games against the Pacific Division, with the total going UNDER in five of those games. However, Anaheim is 14-6 in its last 20 regular-season home games as a favourite of -115 to -135 on the moneyline, with the total finishing UNDER in 13 of those games.

The Jets are 6-6-0 on the season, with the total having finished UNDER in six of their last nine away games as a road underdog at online sports betting sites. They are also one spot below the Jets in goal scoring at 27th overall (2.46), although they are a solid fourth in goals against (2.38).
The Ducks power play ranks 27th (9.7 percent) while their penalty killing ranks 20th (78.7). In goal, John Gibson is 4-6-0 but has a 2.52 goals-against average and .923 save percentage.
The Jets will have a two-day break before playing back-to-back games against the San Jose Sharks and Vegas Golden Knights on Friday and Saturday to complete their road trip.
