Backup Jaroslav Halak could get the start for this non-conference matchup but he has also been stellar with a 9-4-5 record, 2.25 GAA and .928 save percentage.
Following this game, Winnipeg has a two-day break before hosting the division rival Nashville Predators on Sunday to begin a three-game homestand.
