WWYDW: What to Do With the 2nd First Round Pick

May 18, 2016, 10:00 EDTUpdated:
Welcome to this week’s version of What Would You Do Wednesday where you are asked a question and debate among yourselves what the answer is. Unfortunately, the only prize you will receive will be the most Twitter mentions.
This week we ask what you would do with the 22nd overall pick.
With the second overall pick getting all the focus in media, it has not been discussed at much length that the Jets have a second first round pick. This pick came from Chicago as part of the Andrew Ladd trade.
The second first round pick is 22nd overall. The Jets can grab another pretty good player to add to their prospect pool or they can use the 22nd overall in a trade for a player ready to enter the line up now.
Craig Button has Charlie McAvoy ranked at 22nd. McAvoy is defenseman from Boston University and had 3 goals and 21 assists over 36 games.
McKeen’s Hockey ranked Swedish centre Rasmus Asplund at 22nd overall. Asplund had 4 goals and 8 assists over 46 games. Asplund played in the Swedish Elite League as a teenager against men in his draft year, which is why his offensive numbers are low.
ISS Hockey has Riley Tufte at 22nd overall. Tufte is a left winger who had 47 goals and 31 assists in 25 games in playing in the USHS.
What Would You Do Jets Nation?
Who would you draft at 22nd overall? Or, do you trade the pick and for who?
As always leave your answers and suggestions in the comments or on Twitter with the #wwydw hash tag and mention to @NHLJetsNation and/or me @canadiankyian.
