Welcome to this week’s version of What Would You Do Wednesday where you are asked a question and debate among yourselves what the answer is. Unfortunately, the only prize you will receive will be the most Twitter mentions.
This week’s WWYDW asks what you would have done different if you were general manager of the Winnipeg Jets.
Take a read and let us know what you think!
Trade  deadline 2016
has gone and past. The Jets shipped out Andrew Ladd to the Blackhawks
for Marko Dano and a 1st round pick prior to the trade
deadline. The only move made on deadline day was losing Adam Pardy to
the Edmonton Oilers via waivers.
In a rumour round up article, Garret Hohl wrote about the trade rumours the Jets were in
on: A young roster player, Travis Hamonic, and Jonathon Drouin.
Players like Shane
Prince and Brandon Pirri were moved for mid round picks. Jonathon
Drouin would have required a fairly hefty package, most likely
including a young defenceman, prospects and picks. Travis Hamonic
most likely could have been swapped with Jacob Trouba.
What Would You Do
Jets Nation?
If you were the
general manager, would you have made more trades?
Would you have
stayed pat like Cheveldayoff did after the Ladd trade?
Would you have made
a big splash?
