WWYDW: Rating Josh Morrissey So Far

Oct 19, 2016, 13:39 EDTUpdated:
Welcome to this week’s version of What Would You Do Wednesday where you are asked a question and debate among yourselves what the answer is. Unfortunately, the only prize you will receive will be the most Twitter mentions.
For this week’s What Would You Do Wednesday, I am ask about Josh Morrissey’s play so far in the 2016-17 season.
Josh Morrissey has been paired with Dustin Byfuglien, out of necessity and trial and error as well, to see who can fill Jacob Trouba’s shoes. This means Morrissey will have faced the top competition on opposing teams.
He has only played 31 seconds of powerplay time and played 2 minutes and 31 seconds of ice time on the penalty kill.
The real question is, are early results promising? Has Morrissey done well on the top pairing. Or does Paul Maurice need to look at other options to skate alongside Dustin Byfuglien?
There is always Enstrom, Chiarot, and Stuart who are left handed defenceman. As well, Paul Postma can be tasked with playing on his off side.
What Would You Do Jets Nation?
Do you like what you see from Morrisssey and don’t want to change anything?
Do you try another combination of defencemen?
Or, do you make a trade for a better defenceman?
Or, do you yell at me because the sample size is too small?
