Welcome to this week’s version of What Would You Do Wednesday where you are asked a question and debate among yourselves what the answer is. Unfortunately, the only prize you will receive will be the most Twitter mentions.
This week’s WWYDW asks what kind of contract Mark Scheifele should get.
Take a read and let us know what you think!
The 2016 off season
is going to set the future for the Winnipeg Jets because they have to
deal with a couple of key players who are RFAs at the end of the
2015-16 season. One of the most interesting contracts will be what
happens with Mark Scheifele.
Scheifele was out
for injuries for a few games so far in the 2015-16 season that has
hampered his offensive production. However, he has emerged as a top
line centre when he took over the 1st line centre position
after Bryan Little was injured.
During the 2015
offseason, the Leafs signed Nazem Kadri to a 1 year $4.1 million
dollar contract, a “show me” contract.
The reason I chose Kadri, is he has comparable numbers to Scheifele.
What Would You Do Jets Nation?
Do you pay Scheifele and sign him to a long term contract?
Do you give him a 2-3 year bridge deal?
Do you give Scheifele a 1 year contract?
