Jets trim training camp roster by 11 players

The Winnipeg Jets have made 11 more cuts to their 2021 training camp roster, the club announced Monday morning.
The Jets announced they have assigned the following players to the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League:
Forwards: Kristian Reichel, Jeff Malott
Defencemen: Declan Chisholm, Leon Gawanke, Simon Lundmark, Johnathan Kovacevic
Goaltenders: Mikhail Berdin, Arvid Holm
In addition, the Jets announced forwards Mikey Eyssimont, Luke Johnson, and Austin Poganski will be assigned to the Moose pending Monday’s waivers.
The following 28 players now remain in the Jets’ 2021 training camp:
Forwards (16): @Kyle Connor, @Andrew Copp, @Pierre-Luc Dubois, @Nikolaj Ehlers, @David Gustafsson, @Jansen Harkins, @Adam Lowry, @Riley Nash, @Cole Perfetti, @Mark Scheifele, @Paul Stastny, C.J. Suess, @Evgeny Svechnikov, @Dominic Toninato, @Kristian Vesalainen, @Blake Wheeler
Defencemen (10): @Nathan Beaulieu, @Dylan DeMelo, @Brenden Dillon, @Ville Heinola, @Josh Morrissey, @Nelson Nogier, @Neal Pionk, @Dylan Samberg, @Nate Schmidt, @Logan Stanley
Goaltenders (2): @Eric Comrie, @Connor Hellebuyck
The Jets have two pre-season games remaining before they open the regular season on the road against the Anaheim Ducks on Oct. 13.
