The Winnipeg Jets have re-signed RFA forward JC Lipon to a 1-year, two-way deal worth $650,000 at the NHL Level.Lipon, 24, was an RFA (Restricted Free Agent) up until his signing today, and spent the entirety of last season with the Manitoba Moose. He put up 30 points (12 Goals, 18 Assists) over 71 games, while also tallying 129 penalty minutes.
Over the last four seasons, he has played 263 games in the Winnipeg farm system, recording 128 points (39 Goals, 89 Assists) and 515 penalty minutes.
The feisty right-winger was drafted 91st overall by the Jets in 2013, and has seen a total of 9 games with the big squad.
With the signing of Lipon, the Winnipeg Jets have only one RFA left to be signed. Connor Hellebuyck, the only remaining RFA, will see a salary arbitration hearing in the coming weeks to determine his next contract, unless of course the club and Hellebuyck can come to an agreement before then.
