Just two games today, and what meaningful games they were.

United States def. Czech Republic 9-3

Canada def. Sweden 3-1

Samberg helped the United States capture the Bronze medal with a 9-3 victory over the Czech Republic. Samberg chipped in with an assist in just over 20 minutes of ice-time.

Today was a day of glory and heartbreak. Canada snatched the Gold medal tonight by scoring with just under 2-minutes left in the 3rd period, leaving Sweden with the Silver. The United States won their Bronze in a different fashion, winning by 6-goals over the Czech Republic.

Tomorrow, I’ll wrap-up the performances from our Jets, and look back at the overall excitement of it all.
