Again a slow start on the road by the Jets doomed the club, put them behind very early in the game and forced them to spend all kinds of energy trying to come back.
The Jets did stage a comeback and ended up taking a lead at some point, but the pesky Panthers wouldn’t go away and James Reimer was able to save just a few more pucks than Eric Comrie as the Panthers outlasted the Jets 6-4.
The loss is the second in regulation in a row – the first time that’s happened to the Jets since the opening two games of the season.
Tonight the Jets seemed to have all kinds of offence to spare, but Comrie struggled at times and the defence in front of him wasn’t exactly the best either. The game also featured plenty of angst and angry feelings as both teams seemed to be in snarly moods.
Feel free to share your thoughts on the game below… Are you now officially concerned with the slump the Jets are in, or are there still signs that things will be ok for the club?
