Jets Prospects Update – March 8

The Moose split a pair of games, Kyle Connor racked up a few more assists, and Jansen Harkins had a strong week offensively. Check in on this and more in this weeks Jets prospect update.

AHL

The Manitoba Moose split their two games this week on a bit of of a Jekyll and Hyde performance from goaltender Connor Hellebuyck. Hellebuyck picked up his second shutout of the season on Friday stopping all 26 shots against before turning around and allowing six goals on 36 shots on Saturday.
Picking up points for the Moose this week were Scott Kosmachuk (2G), Austen Brassard (1G, 1A), Nic Petan (2A), Ryan Olsen (1G), Brenden Kichton (1A), Jan Kostalek (1A), and Thomas Raffl (1A).

CHL

Brendan Lemieux had one goal and two assists in three games played.
Jansen Harkins had two goals and three assists in four games played.
Michael Spacek had a goal and two assists in three games played.
Matteo Gennaro picked up three assists in two games.
Nelson Nogier chipped in a goal and an assist in three games.

NCAA

Kyle Connor had three assists in two games played.
Jack Roslovic assisted on Miami’s only goal scored in two games on the weekend.
C.J. Franklin had one assist in two games.
Tucker Poolman picked up two assists in two games played.
Mason Appleton scored his fifth of the season, the first in about a month and a half, and had no assists in two games played.
Jack Glover scored twice in two games played.
Matt Ustaski and Tanner Lane were both held pointless in one game.
Jamie Phillips allowed one goal on 49 shots in two wins for the week.
Erik Foley did not play this weekend.

Europe

None of the Jets prospects in Europe played any games this week. Sami Niku is still out with an injury and the second round of the KHL playoffs have yet to start.
