Winnipeg Jets legend and Hockey Hall of Famer Teemu Selanne has a new book out and will be in Winnipeg this weekend as part of a multi-city book tour in support of it’s launch.

This is actually the second book Selanne has written about his life. The first – also with the very simple title of “Teemu” – was written (again with Ari Mennander) and published in Finland back in 2014 shortly after he had finally retired from the game. In that book he had harsh words for then Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau which caused a bit of a stir, although Selanne admitted later that part of the book was written immediately after the Ducks had been eliminated in the second round of the 2014 playoffs and thus his words were from a more emotional state.
This new book written in English doesn’t look to be as controversial or emotionally charged although it does likely borrow tales and stories told in his Finnish version.
