Glad the #NHLjets are extending Paul Maurice for 2 reasons 1) He's a good coach 2) It will trigger all the trolls Mostly for Number 2

#NHLJets twitter right now hahahah
Fuelled by mediocrity?
Paul Maurice officially extended.... #NHLJets
The #NHLJets acceptance of mediocrity (or worse) is embarrassing. The team has been back for 9 years and they've had 1 good season. They are running the team like a family, not a business. Extending the people in charge is a joke, while they raise prices every year. Embarrassing.
Jets will forever be average or below average because of Maurice
By extending Paul Maurice the #NHLJets have shown a strong commitment to remaining mediocre and irrelevant... 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Money (spent on ticket sales) talks?
The coach does have support though
I can't wait till next year when the #NHLJets make moves and build up their D core and they're 1st place in the division and then Maurice is cool again on Twitter.
Hes done us good! Yes there have been and will always be questionable decisions from him. But we have done good under him! And the blame for how this season has started and might end, cannot be all on him. I have faith. This is good for us for now. It works
He’s got the team in a playoff race with an entire line gone and D decimated. He’s earned it.
Elsewhere in the media
Interesting to see the #NHLJets approach to the Maurice news. Announced at a team event, interview with Maurice cued up for team web site, no access to media, no questions for a day. Often wonder where teams are headed in this area.
