The @Winnipeg Jets have recalled forward @Kristan Vesalainen from the American Hockey League’s Manitoba Moose, the club announced Monday.
Vesalainen, 20, has played in 44 games for the Moose this year scoring nine goals adding 13 assists.
Vesalainen, a 2017 24th overall draft pick, made his NHL debut on Oct. 3, 2018, where he notched one assist. He played in five total games with the Jets last year and that assist was his only point.
In 66 games with the AHL’s Manitoba Moose, the winger has scored 35 points in 66 games.
The move comes after the club announced F @Adam Lowry would miss the next month with an upper-body injury.
