The @Winnipeg Jets will be without F @Adam Lowry for at least a month, head coach Paul Maurice told reports Monday.
Lowry, 26, was injured in a Sunday night game against the @Chicago Blackhawks after a collision with Blackhawks F @Drake Caggiula.
This is the play that Adam Lowry was injured on last night. Drake Caggiula was given two minutes for interference, should it have been more?
Now in his sixth season with the Jets, Lowry has scored four goals and added six assists in 47 games with the team this year.
Lowry has seen a bump in his ice time this year playing 15:05 per game, a little higher than his career average of 14:43. A drop in his shooting percentage has come this year, too, shooting only 6.3 percent this year vs. his career average of 10.6.
The injury will likely see @Jansen Harkins get some time playing on the fourth-line as Lowry recovers. It could be a great chance for him to prove himself and that he should stay upon a Lowry return.
