Winnipeg Jets announce second round of training camp cuts

Following their 4-2 preseason victory over the Calgary Flames on Saturday night, the Winnipeg Jets announced their second round of training camp roster cuts.
Goaltender and Winnipeg native Isaac Poulter, along with defenceman Dylan Anhorn and forwards Fabian Wagner and Jacob Julien, were among the latest players trimmed from camp.
Poulter, Wagner, and Julien have been assigned to the Manitoba Moose, while Anhorn has been released from his Jets tryout. With these moves, the Jets now have 45 players remaining at training camp.

The Jets’ first round of cuts came this past Monday, when the club released defenceman Edison Engle, forwards Jacob Cloutier, Kevin He, Owen Martin, goaltender Alex Worthington, and defenceman Ethan Frisch.
Engle, Cloutier, He, and Martin were returned to their respective junior clubs, while Worthington and Frisch were released from their amateur and professional tryouts.
Meanwhile, the Manitoba Moose began off-ice testing Sunday for their 2025 training camp. On-ice sessions are scheduled to start Monday at hockey for all centre.
The Jets will continue their preseason schedule Tuesday night in St. Paul, Minnesota, taking on the Wild in Game No. 5. Puck drop is set for 7:00 p.m. CDT and you can catch the action live on Winnipegjets.com.
