The story that has been 18 year old Winnipeg Jets defenseman Ville Heinola continues to amaze, and in his fourth game in the NHL, he now has his first career goal.
Oh yeah, this kid is staying in the bigs!
Seeing the celebration from his teammates – especially fellow countryman Patrik Laine – was something else.

Before tonight Heinola had two assists in his first three games and continued to look like a very steady presence on the blue-line that belied his actual NHL inexperience.
Of more immediate concern, his goal brought the Jets even 1-1 after a very tough start to the game against the Pittsburgh Penguins and gave the team a huge boost.
He explained to Dennis Beyak of TSN of how he felt after the goal and just what he saw.
