The Nashville Predators bounced back from a disappointing loss on Saturday night to beat the Tampa Bay Lightning in a rather big contest for both clubs. The Preds win drops their magic number to clinch the Central division to two points.

Two of the teams that are fighting for playoff positioning met in Anaheim on Sunday night. The Avalanche had a 3-1 lead going into the third period, but the Ducks rallied with two in the final frame and then won it a minute and a half into overtime thanks to a Ondrej Kase goal.

With the Ducks win, it vaulted them into third place in the Pacific and at the same time officially eliminated the Dallas Stars.
